Welcome to my world of creativity and learning! I’m Katelyn, a dedicated teacher and a loving mom of three energetic young kids. My life is a beautiful blend of nurturing young minds in the classroom and nurturing my own creativity through the art of macramé.

Teaching has always been my passion, and I find joy in guiding my students through the exciting journey of learning. It’s a role that constantly reminds me of the boundless potential of young minds and the importance of patience, empathy, and inspiration. In recent years I’ve extended my love of teaching outside the classroom to teach macrame classes in the community.

On the flip side, there’s my creative side, which finds solace in the art of macramé. The gentle, rhythmic knotting of cords brings me a sense of tranquillity and balance. It’s my haven, a place where I can weave together my thoughts and ideas into intricate, beautiful patterns. Macrame pairs beautifully with it busy home schedule as I can do it in the car (shotgun) or while watching a movie with my family. 

Introducing Rya Lockridge, a devoted mother of two who channels her creative energy into the art of macrame. Behind the scenes of thread and color, Rya dedicates her free time to crafting exquisite macrame pieces, weaving intricate patterns and designs that captivate and inspire. Her commitment to both her family and her craft is a testament to her passion for creating beautiful and intricate works of art.
